Unreleased Beyoncé Music Reportedly Stolen From Car Ahead of “Cowboy Carter” Atlanta Shows

Beyoncé Cowboy Carter Tour in Atlanta

In a troubling turn just days before Beyoncé was set to hit the stage in Atlanta for her Cowboy Carter tour, unreleased music and confidential show materials were allegedly stolen from a rental car used by her team.

According to a report by WSB-TV Atlanta, the theft occurred on July 8, less than 48 hours before Beyoncé’s four-night run at Mercedes-Benz Stadium began. The victim? Her choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue, both of whom reported that a thief broke into their rental vehicle and made off with highly sensitive digital and physical assets — including jump drives containing unreleased songs, exclusive footage, and show production files.

“Mr. Grant advised he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,” states the official police report. “The hard drives contained watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show, and past and future setlists.”

🎧 What’s Missing?

The stolen items reportedly include:

  • Unreleased Beyoncé music
  • Watermarked tracks likely used for internal circulation
  • Live show plans and setlist blueprints
  • Laptops, designer sunglasses, clothing
  • A pair of Apple AirPods Max

🔍 What Happens Next?

Atlanta police launched an investigation and used the “Find My” tracking app to ping the location of the stolen AirPods Max, which led them to an undisclosed area. Authorities say they are pursuing multiple leads and have issued an arrest warrant for the unidentified suspect.

So far, Beyoncé’s team has not publicly commented on the incident.

🎤 Beyoncé’s Tour Continues

Despite the security breach, Beyoncé continued her Atlanta tour dates as scheduled, with the final of her four shows set for tonight. Her next stop? Las Vegas, where she will perform two concluding shows to wrap the Cowboy Carter era — a tour that launched to massive acclaim in Los Angeles on August 28.

⚠️ Why This Matters

The stolen material could pose serious security risks for Beyoncé’s team, especially if any of the unreleased tracks or show plans leak online. For artists of her stature, such content is tightly protected and often represents months — or years — of planning and investment.
