CARCASS Announces September/October 2025 North American Tour with BRUJERIA, NAILS, NECROT and More

British extreme metal legends CARCASS are heading back to North America this fall, bringing a brutal lineup of supporting acts along for a cross-country trek guaranteed to rattle skulls and shred expectations. The tour begins September 16 in Birmingham, Alabama, and wraps up with a massive October 1 show in Los Angeles before their Aftershock Festival appearance in Sacramento.
The 2025 North American tour includes support from an impressive rotating cast: BRUJERIA, NECROT, HEDONIST, SPIRITWORLD, NAILS, and MONGREL. Additionally, CARCASS will make festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock, two of the most high-profile metal festivals in the country.

🧠 Evolving Sound and Fan Reactions
In a 2024 interview, vocalist/bassist Jeff Walker and guitarist James “Nip” Blackford reflected on the band’s ever-shifting sound. Walker emphasized that CARCASS has always evolved naturally rather than following trends:
“We keep growing up… We just play the music we like. It’s not a cynical maneuver. Stylistically we’re all over the place — that’s the problem.”

💀 ‘Torn Arteries’ and the Legacy Continues
CARCASS’s most recent full-length album, Torn Arteries (2021, Nuclear Blast), continues to push sonic boundaries while nodding to their roots. The album title is a tribute to an old demo from original drummer Ken Owen, and the artwork — created by Zbigniew Bielak — is both grotesque and poetic, featuring a rotting vegetable heart in homage to Japanese kusôzu (“painting of the nine stages of a decaying corpse”).
Recording for Torn Arteries took place across Sweden and England, with Daniel Wilding handling drums and sessions guided by producer David Castillo. The result is a crushing, multilayered effort that’s as ferocious as it is focused.
