A full video tour of Working Class Hero, the new Ozzy Osbourne exhibition in Birmingham, is now available online. Captured by Metal Pilgrim, the walkthrough gives fans a chance to experience the tribute from anywhere in the world.

A Tribute to Ozzy’s Legacy
The exhibition opened on June 25 at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. Curated by Sharon Osbourne, it honors Ozzy’s solo career and his roots in Black Sabbath.
The display features the rock icon’s most prestigious international awards. These include Grammy wins, MTV honors, platinum and gold records, and a collection of global accolades. You’ll also find Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trophies, Hollywood Walk of Fame stars, and Birmingham Walk of Stars plaques.
Sharon: “This Is Where It Belongs”
Sharon Osbourne opened the exhibit, emphasizing the importance of Birmingham.
“It just wouldn’t be right if it launched in New York or Los Angeles,” she said. “It all began here, and this is where it belongs.”
In an interview with BBC Radio WM, she added that Ozzy is deeply moved by the hometown tribute.
“He’s overwhelmed,” she said. “He’s excited to reunite with the guys in Sabbath. They’re all having a great time together, but it’s emotional. It’s hard to say goodbye.”
More Than a Museum Show
Beyond the gallery, Birmingham offers several public tributes to Black Sabbath this summer.
Outdoor Photo Exhibition in Victoria Square
A free photo exhibit runs through autumn in Victoria Square. It showcases rare images of all four original members — Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. The display also includes iconic album artwork and facts about the band’s Birmingham origins.
Massive Mural on Navigation Street
Another highlight is a 40-meter mural on Navigation Street, created by local artist Mr Murals. The artwork features lifelike portraits of Black Sabbath and their legendary logo.
“This mural is a tribute not just to Black Sabbath,” he explained, “but to Birmingham’s creative spirit. I wanted to create something raw and powerful — just like their sound.”
A Homecoming Like No Other: ‘Back to the Beginning’
The exhibition ties into Back to the Beginning, a one-night-only concert on July 5 at Villa Park. This event reunites Black Sabbath’s original lineup for the first time in 20 years.
Performers include Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, Halestorm, and many more. The show sold out in just 16 minutes. Fortunately, fans can still experience it via a global livestream starting at 3:00 p.m. BST. The stream will remain available for 48 hours. Tickets and access info are available at www.backtothebeginning.com.
Produced by Industry Heavyweights
The concert is produced by Live Nation and hosted by actor Jason Momoa. Media company Mercury Studios is handling the global distribution, in partnership with streaming platform Kiswe. Proceeds will benefit several charities, including Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
Ozzy’s Health Battles and Recent Performances
Despite facing significant health issues, Ozzy remains committed to his fans. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic form of Parkinson’s disease in 2003. Injuries from a 2003 accident and a bout with COVID-19 further affected his ability to perform live.
However, Ozzy made a triumphant return in 2022, performing at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and the NFL season opener in Los Angeles.
